Unexpectedly nestling at the foot of the South Downs between Lewes and Alfriston lies the hamlet of Southerham. The Granary self-catering cottage is a charming converted flint stables block created from one of the original farm buildings of Southerham Farm. There are beautiful walks straight on to the Downs and an easy walk to the historic market town of Lewes with interesting shops, flea markets, castle, museums and restaurants. Easy access to Glyndebourne, Brighton, London (1 hour by train).

The garden that surrounds has been transformed over the last 5 years from former paddocks and solid concrete farmyard to an interesting contemporary garden. Winding paths lead to a gravel garden, fernery, tropical border and large pond with decked viewing platform and summerhouse.
